The Mechanical Assembler assembles subassemblies and products according to work instructions, procedures, mechanical drawings, and other written or verbal instructions.
Roles and Responsibilities
Perform all operations related to products production, assembly, and packing
Perform intermediate assembly tasks such as potting, encapsulating, cleaning, epoxy bonding
Read work orders, follow production drawings and sample assemblies, or receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed
Performs testing and inspection, using magnifying devices, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards
Document actions and products by completing required quality and production forms
Perform all work to meet quality and safety standards and procedures
Monitor and communicate material needs
Follow established procedures to avoid contamination of clean-room
Flexibility and understanding that all staff may be required to perform duties outside their normal area of expertise to meet the mission and goals of the Company
Experience of minimum 3 years in mechanical assembly processes
Readiness to work in clean room environment
Must be able to read, understand and interpret written and/or verbal instructions and have good communication skills in English
Ability to read and interpret drawings
Physical ability to stand for long periods
Valid driving license

The Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for developing and executing production plans to satisfy our customer requirements and internal demands. This key position will also manage and lead operational annual objectives to ensure that our overall supply plan(s) meet & exceed both departmental and organizational wide objectives.
To Execute material planning best practices and processes to ensure customers demand are met
Will perform supply demand analysis, highlighting areas of concern, bottlenecks, shortages in order to provide accurate information to our S&OP process
Will maintain timely reporting of all planning KPI’s and trends while achieving service levels
Will develop and manage production schedules and commitments to appropriate operational leads
Release and close production work orders and purchasing demand orders on time
Ensure standard hours, rates and demonstrated capacity is reflected in our planning systems
Will work to become a Subject Matter expert in our Netsuite ERP system where they with effectively manage and maintain BOMs and CBOMs
Will review all ECO's and ECR's for the following:
Effectivity dates (Advise and highlight alternate solutions to management for possible implementation dates into the production line, at the supply base and overall customer readiness).
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to coordinate ECOs to plan for material and product life cycle management
Create and understand all financial impacts to the proposed changes for i.e. minimizing obsolescence and inventory write-offs
Manage the raw material phase in and out of our global inventory
Ensure the BOM is updated accordingly in Netsuite upon successful ECO release
Will be a key contributor to our quality compliance and audit readiness program
Will support Warehouse, Logistics and Production activities if and when necessary
Will cultivate and manage effective communications and working relationships cross-functionally.
3+ years of experience working in ERP. Netsuite - an advantage
Experience in ERP modules such as Procurement, Inventory, Sales and Manufacturing.
Ability to demonstrate process design/improvement experience
Experience with translating business requirements to technical design, alongside good analytical skills
Experience in collaborating and working with different stakeholders
BSc in Industrial Engineering – an advantage
